...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL NANCE...NORTHERN
YORK...NORTHEASTERN HAMILTON...NORTHEASTERN MERRICK AND POLK COUNTIES
THROUGH 1145 PM CDT...

At 1059 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported strong
thunderstorms, with the leading edge along a line extending from 7
miles west of Bellwood to near Benedict. Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 1050 PM, a spotter in Osceola
         estimated 50 MPH gusts.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Stromsburg, Genoa, Osceola, Shelby, Silver Creek, Polk, Waco,
Benedict, Gresham, and Thayer.

This includes Interstate 80 near mile marker 365.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
