...HEAT ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

Although parts of the area will continue to experience elevated heat
index levels into the 90s for one or two more hours this evening,
any threat for more dangerous heat index readings of 100 degrees or
higher has ended for the day. In fact, no further heat concerns are
anticipated through the remainder of the week as a cooler airmass is
moving into our region.
