This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Heat index values as high as 108 degrees are expected across parts
of the area today and a Heat Advisory is in effect for counties
mainly along and east of Highway 281. Please refer to the latest
Heat Advisory statement for more information.

In addition, a small chance for thunderstorms will be possible
for areas mainly west of Highway 281 late tonight. Severe weather
is not anticipated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Heat index values near or slight higher than 100 degrees can be
expected during the afternoon hours both Sunday and Monday.

Between Sunday night and Tuesday night, and again on Thursday
night, intermittent and mainly spotty thunderstorm activity is
possible within parts of the local area. At this time, the
probability for severe weather appears low.
