This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will affect much of our
forecast area this evening, with perhaps another round of storms
moving in from the west between midnight and and sunrise Saturday.

Severe weather appears fairly unlikely, with the primary concern
being localized heavy rain and possible flooding. Limited parts
of our area will likely pick up (or have already received) as much
as 2 to 4 inches of rain. Please refer to any active Flood
Advisories for more details on the main areas of concern.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Nearly every day and night features at least a slight chance of
thunderstorms for at least portions of our forecast area, with
some of the overall-higher chances currently focused during the
evening and overnight hours Sunday and Monday.

While some storms over the coming week could be strong to severe
and also produce localized heavy rain, there is currently quite a
bit of uncertainty regarding the exact timing, coverage and
location of potential storms. As a result, any details regarding
a potential severe thunderstorm or flooding threat for a
particular day or night will have to wait until it gets closer in
time.
