This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Shower and thunderstorm chances return to portions of the outlook
area this evening. Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible
with the main concerns being hail to the size of half dollars and
winds gusting to around 60 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Near-critical fire weather conditions will be possible mainly
southwest of the Tri-Cities Wednesday afternoon. More widespread
near-critical to critical fire weather conditions are anticipated
for Thursday afternoon. In addition to the fire weather concerns
Thursday, strong northwesterly winds will gust 40 to near 50 MPH.

Additional chances for thunderstorms are anticipated across at
least parts of the local area Saturday evening through Tuesday.
