This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered showers with embedded weak thunderstorms will remain
possible through late morning, mainly for areas along and east of
Highway 281.

Another round of thunderstorms may arrive from the northwest or
west late this evening and into tonight. There is a Marginal Risk
for severe weather with this activity, with wind gusts of 50 to
60 MPH the primary threat, mainly west of Highway 281.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Most of the upcoming work week will be on the dry side, but there
are some low end thunderstorm chances late Tuesday into Tuesday
night. A better chance for thunderstorms will come with the next
cold front sometime next weekend.

Heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees will be possible for
portions of the area Thursday and Friday afternoons.
