This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

An Air Quality Alert remains in effect for our Nebraska forecast
area through the rest of the day. Please refer to the Alert
statement for more details.

A low chance for thunderstorms return to mainly a few western to
central portions of the area after midnight tonight. Severe
weather is not expected, but gusty winds and heavy downpours will
be possible with the strongest activity.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Through 5 PM Saturday, an Air Quality Alert will remain in effect
for our Nebraska forecast area. Please refer to the Alert
statement for more details.

Periodic thunderstorm chances continue through the weekend and
into next week, with the overall best chances Saturday and Sunday
nights. A few of these storms could be strong to marginally
severe, mainly west of Highway 183.

Heat Index values in exceedance of 100 degrees will be possible
for a few portions of the area Thursday afternoon.
