The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Southerly winds may gust as high as 40 MPH Thursday afternoon. Thunderstorms return to the forecast Thursday afternoon west of the Tri-Cities, then to most of south central Nebraska and north central Kansas Thursday night. While a few strong storms can`t be ruled out west of Highway 183 Thursday afternoon, the overall risk for severe weather remains low. Another round of strong wind gusts of 40 to 45 MPH will be possible during the daytime hours Saturday. Finally, late Saturday night into Sunday morning, areas of frost will become possible, mainly for the northwest half of the forecast area, or along and northwest of a line from Phillipsburg, Kansas to Columbus, Nebraska. This includes the Tri-Cities.
