This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

An Air Quality Alert remains in effect for our Nebraska forecast
area through late this afternoon. Please refer to the Alert
statement for more details.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible through midday, with
perhaps another period of isolated to scattered thunderstorms
tonight. Severe weather is not expected, but gusty winds and
heavy downpours will be possible with the strongest activity.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Periodic thunderstorm chances continue through the weekend and
into next week, with the overall best chances being Sunday and
Monday. There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather for most of
south central Nebraska on Monday.

Heat Index values in exceedance of 100 degrees will be possible
for portions of the area each afternoon late next week.
