This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms will remain possible this morning along the
Highway 81 corridor. Small hail and gusty winds will be possible
with the strongest activity.

Similar to the last several nights...thunderstorms may try to
work their way off the high plains and into portions of south
central Nebraska and north central Kansas after sunset. It`s
uncertain what the overall coverage will be, but any storms that
move in prior to midnight could be strong to severe. The overall
greatest risk looks to be along and west of a line from Arapahoe
to Ord. Half dollar size hail and wind gusts up to 60 MPH are the
primary threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Most of the upcoming work week will be on the dry side, but there
are some low end thunderstorm chances Tuesday and Wednesday,
mainly during the overnight and early morning periods. Coverage
and intensity details still remain uncertain, but areas north to
northeast of the Tri-Cities could be most favored.

A better chance for thunderstorms will come with the next cold
front slated to arrive Saturday evening.

Heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees will be possible for
portions of the area Thursday and Friday afternoons.
