Isolated thunderstorms will remain possible this morning along the Highway 81 corridor. Small hail and gusty winds will be possible with the strongest activity. Similar to the last several nights...thunderstorms may try to work their way off the high plains and into portions of south central Nebraska and north central Kansas after sunset. It`s uncertain what the overall coverage will be, but any storms that move in prior to midnight could be strong to severe. The overall greatest risk looks to be along and west of a line from Arapahoe to Ord. Half dollar size hail and wind gusts up to 60 MPH are the primary threats. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Most of the upcoming work week will be on the dry side, but there are some low end thunderstorm chances Tuesday and Wednesday, mainly during the overnight and early morning periods. Coverage and intensity details still remain uncertain, but areas north to northeast of the Tri-Cities could be most favored. A better chance for thunderstorms will come with the next cold front slated to arrive Saturday evening.
