This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Unseasonably warm temperatures and strong southerly winds gusting
35 to 45 MPH will keep elevated fire weather concerns across the
entire outlook area through early evening. Near critical
conditions will prevail for a few hours this afternoon across
some areas along and west of Highway 183, where slightly lower
relative humidity values down to around 20 percent are expected.

There is a slight chance for an isolated thunderstorm west and
northwest of the Tri-Cities overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

On Sunday, scattered thunderstorms are forecast to develop along
a southeastward moving cold front. A few of these may become
strong to marginally severe, mainly for areas along and
especially southeast of a line from Phillipsburg, Kansas to York,
Nebraska between 5PM and 11PM. Quarter size hail and isolated 50
to 60 MPH wind gusts will be the primary threats.

Off and on thunderstorm chances persist Monday, Monday night, and
into Tuesday morning, mainly for areas along and south of
Interstate 80. Severe weather is not expected.
