This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Periodic chances for thunderstorms return to the forecast Friday
through Tuesday. There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather for a
portion of the outlook area for Independence Day, mainly along and
west of a line from Stockton, KS to Fullerton, NE. This includes
the Tri-Cities. Localized wind gusts up to 60 MPH and very heavy
rain rates are the primary concern for these areas during the late
afternoon and evening hours.

Saturday through the start of next week, model uncertainty
remains in timing, coverage, and location of potential storms.
This makes it difficult to confidently pin down specific details
regarding the potential for severe weather.
