There is a small chance for thunderstorms across areas mainly east of Highway 81 and across portions of north central Kansas late this afternoon and evening. An isolated strong to marginally severe storm will be possible with wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph possible with the strongest storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms will be possible across parts of the area each day this week, with some of the overall-higher chances currently focused during the evening and overnight hours each day.
