.DISCUSSION...

Winds will be light and variable to start the day, but shift to
the north by the mid-late morning hours. As winds become sustained
northerly, gusts increase to 20-25mph and persist throughout the
late morning-early evening hours. Today`s high will be around 60
degrees, with drier air moving into the area with the northerly
winds. This will cause afternoon relative humidity values to fall
to around 25%. With the breezy winds and lower humidity a window
of `near-critical` fire weather conditions is possible this
afternoon. Winds drop off around sunset, becoming light and
variable overnight. Lows tonight will be around freezing with
widespread frost.

Saturday will be warmer with a high around 70 degrees and
afternoon relative humidity values falling to around 20 percent.
Winds start the day light and variable, but sustained winds
increase to around 10mph by the late morning hours. Gusts of
15-20mph are possible during the afternoon-early evening hours on
Saturday.
