515 WGUS83 KGID 170709 CCA FLSGID Flood Advisory...CORRECTED National Weather Service Hastings NE 209 AM CDT Thu Jul 17 2025 KSC147-171400- /O.COR.KGID.FA.Y.0040.000000T0000Z-250717T1400Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Phillips KS- 209 AM CDT Thu Jul 17 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Mainly minor flooding caused by earlier excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of north central Kansas, including the following county, Phillips. * WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, along with possibly rural county roads and area creeks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 206 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain from earlier in the night had ended, with little-to-no additional rain expected this morning. However, radar estimation and a few automated gauges confirm that 2 to 4 inches of rain had fallen mainly between 11 PM and 1 AM, especially along and within 5 miles north of Highway 36 between Phillipsburg and Agra. As a result, minor flooding is likely still ongoing in the Advisory area, and could continue for several more hours, especially in low-lying areas and along small creeks that drain southward toward Kirwin. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Plum Creek, Turner Creek, Deer Creek, West Cedar Creek, Middle Cedar Creek, Spring Creek and Big Creek. - Some locations that could experience flooding include...
