This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

A backdoor cold front will drop south through the area tonight
before a strong arctic cold front moves in on Saturday night
marking the shift towards below average temperatures and a more
active weather pattern.

Highs today will range from the upper teens near the Canadian
border to the mid 40s over central Montana. Light snow can be
expected along the Canadian border.

Lows tonight will be in the upper teens to mid 30s. Wintry mix of
precipitation is expected to begin tonight and continue into
Saturday morning before transitioning to snow Saturday night.

On Saturday, highs will range from the upper 30s northeast to the
mid 40s over central and southern Montana. Snow and rain chances
continue off and on throughout the day.
