.DISCUSSION...
The last 24 hours have seen anything from 0.01" to 1.00" a half a county away
around the burn site. So, muddy roads today could be a problem reaching the
site depending on the path out to it. Scattered light rain showers are expected
through the mid-morning with more widespread rain and thunder looking to
arrive around Noon to 2PM and last through 8PM before thinning out and
disappearing overnight. Expect light winds out of the SSE initially
with a slow veering to S around Noon... and then veering SW to W suddenly
around 4 to 6PM with a strong sudden speed increase when the last wind switch
arrives in the late afternoon early evening. This strong west wind will stay
up till about noon Monday. The next chance for rain begins late Monday afternoon
early Monday evening and will last through mid-morning Tuesday with mostly
dry conditions 6AM to 6PM Monday.
