.DISCUSSION...

Lingering instability today will produce isolated showers and
stray thunderstorm, but to a lesser extent than yesterday. They
will be limited in moisture, keeping chances for a wetting rain
low (10% or less). However, gusty and erratic winds are a threat
near them on what will otherwise be a mostly calm day.
Temperatures remain seasonable through the weekend. As there will
be a couple of dry frontal passages over the weekend with
moderate confidence for gusty wind potential aligning with peak
heating, elevated fire weather concerns will be in place for any
areas with receptive fuels (particularly around Valley county
based on lack of greenness).
