.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry weather conditions will be the mainstay across the
region for today, at least initially. Look for scattered showers
and thunderstorms late afternoon and evening. Some of the storms
may come with a gusty and shifting wind threat and isolated
wetting rains. Seasonably warm temperatures with afternoon and
evening thunderstorm chances look to continue through the second
half of this week. That said, low wind speeds overall and green
fuels should minimize fire weather concerns over the next few
days.
