The area will remain on the western edge of a weak ridge. This in
combination with a shortwave trough will allow monsoonal moisture
into the area tonight, with many locations seeing scattered
showers and storms. Although lightning will be associated with
much of this activity, overall high relative humidity with
moderate winds will keep fire danger down.
