...Heavy Rain will bring small stream rise today and tonight...

Heavy rain is expected today west of Malta, Zortman and Winnett.
Rainfall in some areas will exceed 2 inches. Runoff from heavy rain
will bring rising water to small streams and Flatwillow, Beaver, and
Peoples Creeks.

The rain will diminish tonight but runoff from the rain will
continue to bring rising water the next few days.

People who near any creek or stream will need to be alert for rising
water and take precautions.
