.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGES:

- Near to below average temperatures through Monday then above
normal temps the remainder of the week.

- Monsoonal moisture may make a return near the end of the month.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:
With surface high pressure and northwest upper level flow aloft,
the quiet period will remain in place at least into Wednesday.

Surface high pressure over the Canadian Prairies will drop into
the northern Plains tonight. This will turn the surface winds to
the east.

Temperatures will peak about Wednesday then remain there, above
average through the remainder of the forecast period.

On Thursday, there is moderate (50 percent) confidence that monsoonal
moisture will move into Montana from the south and increase
clouds. There is low (20 percent) confidence on precipitation
occurring with this moisture.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:

Decreased temps a bit with NBM25 for tonight, otherwise rode with
