National Weather Service Glasgow MT

.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGES:
- Above average temperatures and dry conditions continue through
  Saturday.

- Chances for rain push into northeast Montana Saturday night,
with preliminary weekend totals between 0.25" and 0.75" where highest
  totals are in the west.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:
A strong upper level ridge bringing southwest flow aloft will
continue to build over the region, causing above average
temperatures and dry weather to much of Montana. Unseasonably warm
temperatures will peak on Saturday before the ridge continues to
drift downstream.

A Pacific NW trough and closed low will deepen and become a
greater influence on the weather across NE Montana. This system
will track east with cool and wet weather for the weekend.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:
Blended NBM, HiResWARW, HiResWFV for day 1 and 2 winds. There
is a chance for a Lake Wind Advisory behind the frontal passage
Saturday night into Sunday.
