- Mainly dry conditions with only an isolated thunderstorm
  Thursday night.

- Drier and breezier conditions Friday and Saturday will increase
  fire weather concerns.

.DISCUSSION...

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:

Monsoonal moisture flowing north that is interacting with a zonal
jet stream flow has resulted in mainly cloudy skies across
northeast Montana this afternoon. The mid-level clouds should
clear from north to south tonight allowing temps to drop into the
50s north to the 60s south by Wednesday morning.

Sunshine should allow temperatures to begin warming Wednesday,
topping out in the 80s across the CWA. Monsoonal moisture
streaming north should halt near southern Montana but clouds will
increase across the CWA Wednesday night. Showers should stay south
of the CWA.

An upper ridge over the western states will build into Montana
this week with temps warming into Friday. Look for highs Friday to
reach the 90s north to the low 100s south. West winds will also
increase as a surface low passes east to the northeast of us. If
fuels dry out enough, there could be Fire Weather concerns.

Somewhat lighter winds are expected Saturday but slightly lower
humidities will keep the Fire Weather concerns alive.

Slightly cooler conditions are expected Sunday but not enough to
remove the Fire Weather concerns.

Lighter winds and higher humidity, especially in the northeast
zones should continue to hack away at the Fire Weather concerns
Monday.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:
Going NBM forecast looked good today and didn`t stray away with
this package. Some shower potential Thursday night may allow for
an oportunity to become more specific as time draws closer. TFJ

FLIGHT CAT RANGE: VFR

DISCUSSION: Mid-level clouds will gradually clear from northwest
to southeast tonight. Winds will remain about 10 kts or so from
the SE.

DENSITY ALTITUDE issues will begin to return to the terminals Friday
through the Weekend.
