...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern
Hopkins, northeastern Delta and southeastern Lamar Counties through
215 PM CDT...

At 139 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles east of Cooper Lake State Park, or 12 miles northeast of
Sulphur Springs, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Hopkins, northeastern Delta and southeastern Lamar Counties,
including the following locations... Weaver, Taylor Town, Flora,
Nelta, Milton, Pine Forest, Cunningham, Dike, Minter, and Deport.

This includes Interstate 30 between mile markers 134 and 140.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
