...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern Leon
County through 700 PM CDT...

At 631 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Camp Creek Lake, or 15 miles northwest of Madisonville,
moving southwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Leon
County, including the following locations... Redland, Hilltop Lakes,
Robbins, Flynn, Normangee, and Leona.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
