...ELEVATED FIRE THREAT TODAY ALONG AND WEST OF I-35...

* Affected Area...North and Central Texas along and west of I-35.

* Winds...Northwesterly near 10-15 mph becoming northeasterly
between 15-20 mph late in the afternoon with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Relative Humidity...Minimum relative humidity between 15-25%.

* Temperatures...High temperatures between 90-97 degrees.

* Timing...1 PM to 7 PM.

Extreme care is urged during all outside activities where there
is a potential for grass fires to get started. Avoid outside
burning and welding. Do not toss lit cigarette butts outside.
Report wildfires to the nearest fire department or law enforcement
office quickly.
