Update #5 The National Weather Service office in Fort Worth TX conducted several damage assessment surveys today for the April 19th tornadic storm event. The teams worked in the evening hours covering several tornado tracks in 5 counties: Montague, Jack, Parker, Hood and Erath. A more complete preliminary assessment will be provided in the next 1-2 days, due to the magnitude of this event, but below are the preliminary confirmed tornadoes from today`s storm surveys. At this time, the total number of tornadoes stands at 9 confirmed tracks. Additional tracks are still being analyzed, and the total number of tornadoes will likely increase.
