.DISCUSSION...

Fire threat will remain low the rest of this week and into the
weekend. Afternoon RH values will remain above 50% through
tomorrow, and above 40% this weekend. Though surface winds will
generally be out of the south at 5-10 mph, scattered showers and
thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours today and
tomorrow may generate outflow that briefly disrupts the
prevailing surface winds. In these instances winds may become
erratic and gusty (up to 20-30 mph from various and quickly
changing directions). The storm (and coincident lightning risk)
will be greatest this afternoon and evening. Multiple rounds of
rain this week have also resulting in high fuel moisture further
mitigating any potential fire weather concerns even as
temperatures increase and humidity decreases into next week.
