.DISCUSSION...
Hot weather is expected today, with mostly sunny skies for much of
the day. Temperatures will peak around 97 degrees this afternoon,
with minimum relative humidity around 35%. Winds are currently out
of the southwest and will shift out of the south around 1 pm this
afternoon and out of the southeast around 4 pm. Fortunately, wind
speeds will be fairly light, around 5 to 7 mph. Cloud cover is
expected to increase through the afternoon. Showers and
thunderstorms will approach from the north this evening, but there
is low confidence in whether this activity will make it to the
location of the fire prior to dissipating. Even if they don`t
make it, any outflow boundary ahead of this activity may result in
gusty/erratic winds. Low storms chances (20-25% chance) will exist
much of the evening. Otherwise, southerly winds near 5 to 10 mph
are expected overnight, with RH recovering to around 90%.
