.DISCUSSION...
Light and variable winds this morning will become east-northeasterly
around 5-10 mph by late morning. Isolated showers or thunderstorms
will be possible near the fire this afternoon, with infrequent
lightning strikes and the potential for gusty/erratic wind gusts
over 30 mph nearby. Activity will diminish quickly after sunset. A
weak cold front will move through the area on Wednesday prompting
the development of additional showers and thunderstorms by the
afternoon and continuing into Thursday. Coverage will be
scattered, gradually shifting south over time with the front.
Otherwise, it will be hot with high temperatures near 100 degrees
and peak heat index values up to 108 degrees.
