.DISCUSSION...
The large area of thunderstorms moving across western North Texas
this morning is on track to pass north of the the event location.
However, we cannot rule a few showers and an embedded storm or
two on the southern end of the complex moving into the area later
this morning. Additional scattered showers and thunderstorms
developing across the Texas Panhandle and West Texas will drift
eastward over the next several hours, approaching the event
location around mid-day. Gusty winds, small hail, brief heavy
rain, and frequent lightning will be the main concerns through the
evening. Rain chances will linger through midnight, but chances
are lower during this time period compared to the afternoon.
Otherwise, expect partly sunny skies with temperatures warming to
around 80 degrees.
