Another unusually warm and humid late December day is expected
today before a strong cold front brings a few light rain showers
to parts of East Texas and eastern Central Texas. Very strong
north winds as high as 50 mph are expected behind the front later
today, with much colder temperatures Monday and Tuesday. A warming
trend will begin by midweek and continue into the first weekend of
January. The fire weather threat will remain low this week.
