AFTERNOON...
.DISCUSSION...
Although the overall parameters for elevated fire weather
conditions will not be present, a few initial attack wildland
fires cannot be ruled out given a lack of widespread wetting rain
and drying of fuels.
Minimum relative humidity values will dip below 40% this
afternoon along and south of the I-20 corridor. Slightly cooler
temperatures are anticipated this afternoon compared to yesterday.
Winds will largely remain below 10 mph out of the northeast today
with rain scattered showers and storms this afternoon.
There will be additional rain chances tonight, then again Sunday.
Another warming and drying trend will commence next week as
temperatures return to slightly above normal with precipitation
out of the forecast.
