.DISCUSSION...
Below-average temperatures and periodic rain chances through
Monday afternoon will keep the fire weather threat low. Isolated
to scattered thunderstorms with primarily a heavy rain and gusty
downburst wind threat will continue through this afternoon.
Another thunderstorm complex is expected to move south across
North and Central Texas early Monday morning into midday Monday.
All rain chances will come to an end by early Monday evening.
Dry and hot conditions will return Tuesday and prevail through the
end of the week. Temperatures will gradually warm through the week
with afternoon highs in the upper 90s and low 100s by Wednesday or
Thursday. Expect afternoon RH in the 35-45% range each afternoon
with south-southeast winds generally below 10 mph.
