A slight uptick in the fire weather potential can be expected as
the week unfolds, as a strong upper level high pressure ridge continues
to dominate the region. This high will promote hot, dry conditions
each day through Saturday. With afternoon relative humidities dropping
below 35 percent, coupled with moderately breezy conditions, some
potential for increased grass fire starts will exist. No significant
rainfall or cooler weather is anticipated for the foreseeable future.
