.DISCUSSION...
Above-normal temperatures and dry conditions will persist through
the weekend, though a slight uptick in moisture will bring
afternoon humidity 25% and above for the majority of the region
Saturday- Monday. A weak cold front will move through late Sunday
through Monday, bringing slightly cooler air, though temperatures
will remain 5-15 degrees above normal through the end of the week.
Fire starts will become easier as high ERCs persist and afternoon
humidity drops to near 30% or below beginning Wednesday.
Relatively meager sustained wind speeds less than 10 mph will
preclude rapid fire spread and a higher threat.
