.DISCUSSION...
Gusty south winds are expected through Friday, but increasing
dewpoints should keep the fire weather concerns in check.
Scattered thunderstorms will develop this afternoon, mainly near
and east of I-35 and near and north of I-20. Some storms may be
severe with all modes of severe weather possible. Storms will move
out Friday evening, but will return late Friday night and
Saturday with the arrival of a cold front. An unsettled weather
pattern will bring additional chances for showers and storms
Tuesday through Thursday of next week, followed by dry and
seasonable weather next weekend.
