.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions will continue this week with highs in the
upper 90s to low 100s, although an isolated shower or storm is
possible in eastern Central Texas each afternoon from Tuesday
through Saturday. The continued hot and dry weather, dry fuels,
low afternoon RH in the 20-30 percent range, and worsening drought
will keep the fire threat elevated throughout North and Central
Texas, although light winds will help to prevent rapid fire
spread.
