Overall, the fire weather threat will remain low the next 7 days.
With hot and rain-free conditions expected to persist, we will
begin to see better drying of fuels and higher ERC percentiles
towards the end of the week, along with lower humidity in our
northwest. However, modest winds will aid in keeping the wildfire
threat low. Moisture from what is now Tropical Storm Bertha may
spread into our Central Texas counties at the end of the week and
into this weekend, but there is still uncertainty on if this will
produce any isolated shower/storm development in those areas.
