EVENING...
.DISCUSSION...
The slow return of Gulf moisture this weekend into next week will
mitigate the overall fire weather threat across portions of North
and Central Texas. While min RH values in the Big Country may drop
into the 25%-30% range each afternoon, light winds of 5-10 mph
will preclude more substantial fire weather concerns. This
weekend, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected (10-30%
chance) across portions of Central and East Texas with locally
higher probabilities (40-60%) in the Brazos Valley. This activity
will bring a lightning threat each afternoon and evening.
Otherwise, dry and sunny conditions are expected this weekend into
next week for the region with above average temperatures (highs
ranging from 95-103).
