The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Delta County in north central Texas...
  Hopkins County in north central Texas...
  Southern Lamar County in north central Texas...

* Until 1215 PM CST.

* At 910 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing moderate to heavy rain across the warned
  area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
  rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are forecast. Flash flooding is
  already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Paris, Sulphur Springs, Reno, Cooper, Honey Grove, Blossom, Cumby,
  Como, Roxton, Cooper Lake State Park, Cooper Lake, Big Creek Lake,
  Klondike, Sulphur Bluff, Lake Sulphur Springs, Brashear,
  Pattonville, Saltillo, Deport and Pine Forest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
