The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Eastern Jack County in north central Texas...
  Western Wise County in north central Texas...

* Until 700 AM CST.

* At 236 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
  have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 3 inches in 1
  hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are forecast.
  Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Bridgeport, Jacksboro, Alvord, Chico, Lake Bridgeport, Fort
  Richardson State Park, Sunset, Runaway Bay, Perrin, Cundiff,
  Wizard Wells, Vineyard, Crafton, Balsora, Joplin, Boonsville, Park
  Springs, Gibtown and Lost Creek Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
