* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Collin County in north central Texas...
Western Dallas County in north central Texas...
* Until 245 PM CST.
* At 1145 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of
rain have fallen today. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2
inches are forecast. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage and low lying areas.

Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie,
Mesquite, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Richardson, Lewisville,
Allen, Flower Mound, Euless, Desoto, Grapevine, Cedar Hill,
Coppell and Duncanville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
