The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Coryell County in central Texas...

* Until 500 AM CDT.

* At 350 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
  have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 4 inches in 1
  hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are forecast.
  Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Copperas Cove, Gatesville, McGregor, Fort Cavazos, Kempner, Evant,
  Fort Gates, Mother Neff State Park, Belton Lake, Oglesby, South
  Mountain, Whitson, Osage, Arnett, Harbin, Hurst Springs, King,
  Pidcoke, Levita and Mound.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
