The Flood Watch is cancelled for a portion of north central Texas,
including the following areas, Cooke, Eastland, Jack, Montague, Palo
Pinto, Parker, Stephens, Wise and Young.

The flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch is being
cancelled.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Texas, including
  the following counties, in north central Texas, Collin, Dallas,
  Denton, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Rockwall and Tarrant. In northeast
  Texas, Delta, Hopkins, Lamar and Rains.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM CST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor-drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Residual runoff within the Metroplex and rainfall totals of 1
    to 2 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 3 inches east
    of I-35.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
