While some blowing and drifting snow will remain possible into the
early morning hours, the widespread whiteout conditions are no
longer expected. A few wind gusts to around 40 mph will gradually
diminish to 25 to 35 mph by late morning. Roads will remain slick
and hazardous after yesterdays freezing rain and snow.
