Dry and warmer today with breezy winds (gusts 30 to 35 mph) west of I-29 - minimum humidity values remain above 35%. Ahead of a cold front Friday, breezy winds and warmer temperatures may drop humidity values west of the James around 25%. Scattered storms are possible Friday afternoon and evening, with more widespread shower/storm chances later in the weekend into early next week. Cooler temperatures expected along with periodic breezy conditions. However, recent and expected rainfall should limit widespread fire concerns.
