Cool conditions with periods of showers continue through the holiday weekend and possibly into mid next week. Greatest chances for rain through the weekend remain along and south of the MO River Valley into south central SD, where locations could pick up another half an inch of rain through Tuesday. Risk of thunderstorms remains low, but isolated storms can`t be ruled out. Expect winds to become and remain easterly through the weekend, with occasional gusts of 15-25 mph. Fire danger remains low with RH values above 35%, continued rain chances, and recent green up of fuels.
