.DISCUSSION...

A cold front is currently draped from central Canada through
central North and South Dakota, western Nebraska, and into
Wyoming. This will slowly move east-southeast over the next 24
hours. Ahead of the front slightly breezy winds will become light
and variable overnight. Behind the front Tuesday, winds will
become northwest and diurnally breezy gusting 20-25 mph by the
afternoon.

Afternoon dew points will decrease to the upper 50s to low 60s for
much of southeast South Dakota and southwest Minnesota.
Corresponding relative humidity values will fall into the mid 30%
to mid 40%. A Moderate GFDI is expected for this area for
Tuesday. Areas of extreme southeast South Dakota, northeast
Nebraska, and northwest Iowa will maintain relative humidity
values in the 60% range and will remain in the Low category GFDI.
