Rangeland Fire Danger Statement
National Weather Service Sioux Falls SD
239 PM CST Fri Nov 7 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Gusty northwest winds Friday afternoon will slowly subside into
the evening hours. However, precipitation chances will increase
sharply after midnight and through Saturday with risks for
accumulating snow and wetting rain. The overall fire danger will
remain low through the weekend as colder temperatures move in.

A dry week is ahead for the region with temperatures rising back
into the 50s and potentially 60s later in the week. With warmer
southerly wind, fire danger may begin to increase.
